Owner Laura Hook founded the company in 2002 after spending many years managing and developing web application projects for private industry. She has accumulated over 15 years of software development experience by working at both large Fortune 500 companies, small business and non-profit programs.

Laura also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Eastern Connecticut University. Her "real world" experience and educational background gives her the technical edge over other self-proclaimed "web designers".
